The Punjab School Education Department (SED) has provided relief to thousands of teachers by extending the deadline for the ongoing e-transfer process. The decision gives eligible teachers additional time to submit online applications for transfers under the latest transfer round.
According to the department, teachers can now complete and submit their e-transfer applications until July 5 through the official online portal. The extension aims to facilitate teachers who were unable to apply within the previous deadline due to technical issues or other reasons.

The e-transfer system is designed to make the transfer process more transparent and merit-based. Applications are processed digitally, reducing paperwork and ensuring transfers are made in accordance with the department’s approved policy and available vacancies.
After the application window closes, the verification process will begin. Education authorities will verify all submitted applications from July 7 to July 13 to ensure that the provided information and eligibility criteria are accurate.
Teachers who have concerns regarding their application status or verification results will be able to submit objections from July 14 to July 18. The department will review these objections before finalizing the transfer list.
Once all verification and objection stages are completed, the Punjab School Education Department will issue the final transfer orders on July 21. Teachers are advised to regularly check the official e-transfer portal and their registered accounts for updates and notifications.
The department has encouraged applicants to carefully review their personal information, school details, and supporting documents before submitting their applications. Incorrect or incomplete information may delay the verification process or affect eligibility.
The Punjab e-transfer system has become an important part of the province’s education reforms, helping teachers request transfers based on policy, hardship, mutual exchange, and other approved categories.
