The Sindh College Education Department has officially released the SECCAP Class XI Merit List for admissions to government colleges in Karachi. Students who applied through the SECCAP online admission system can now check their allotted college by visiting the official portal.
Applicants need to enter their registration details on the SECCAP website to view their admission status. The result includes the allotted college, study group, and morning or evening shift assigned to each successful candidate.
This year, the admission process received an overwhelming response, with more than 160,000 applications submitted for government colleges across Sindh. Karachi accounted for the largest share of applicants, reflecting the increasing demand for quality public college education. Computer Science, Pre-Medical, and Pre-Engineering remained among the most sought-after study groups.

Students who are not satisfied with their allotted college or believe the allocation does not match the official merit criteria have been advised not to worry. SECCAP has confirmed that a “Claim” option will be activated on the admission portal shortly, allowing eligible candidates to request a review of their college allocation.
The 2026-27 academic session is expected to begin in early August, and students are advised to complete all admission formalities within the deadlines announced by the authorities. Failure to submit the required documents or complete verification on time may affect admission confirmation.
Candidates are encouraged to rely only on the official SECCAP portal for merit lists, claim submissions, and admission updates, while avoiding unverified information shared on social media or unofficial websites.
